Jozef is from State College, Pennsylvania, where he grew up playing in indie rock and bluegrass bands. He holds a B.S. in audio engineering from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. His studio career began in Bloomington, Indiana, at Russian Recording. Since moving to California, he has been on staff at United Recording, Henson Recording Studios, and EastWest Studios. He now works freelance. Among other projects, he has worked on Kendrick Lamar’s gnx (2024), Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poet’s Department (2024), and Billy Strings’ Highway Prayers (2024).
